IQ Test

1.  The day a claim is assigned to our office, we should:

3.  If the loss is a two-story hail damage inspection:

A.  let them know we are afraid of heights and we’ll send a contractor out to look at the roof
B.  ask them if they have a ladder we can use
C.  view the roof from the ground and then agree its damaged
D.  get out our extension ladders, roof shoes, and harnesses and do the job no matter what

4.      After completing the inspection:

A. get around to writing you a report in a few weeks
B. copy the contractor’s estimate and use our letterhead
C. tell the insured, “sure, it’s all covered; you’ll have a check tomorrow!”
D. provide a detailed, but brief report to supplement our estimate

5.      If the claim has coverage issues or other complications, the independent should:

A. not get a non-waiver signed and assume it will all just work itself out
B. give out the staff adjuster’s home number so insured can file their complaint
C. throw the insurance company under the bus if the insured complains to us
D. get a non-waiver signed, let the insure know the carrier will advise them of coverage
